Chase Williams

March 18, 1990 — April 4, 2010

Chase Allen Lewis Williams age 20 of the Woodlawn Community, died Sunday, April 4, 2010. He was born March 18, 1990, in Pine Bluff, a son of Wesley Williams, Christy Laughry Jacks and Richard Lewis. Mr. Williams was a 2009 graduate of Woodlawn High School where he played football and basketball; was attending Southeast Arkansas College in Pine Bluff. He was employed by Brookshires and was a member of Oakland Heights Missionary Baptist Church in White Hall. Chase was saved by grace and baptized on October 28, 2007. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Bobby Lewis.

Mr. Williams is survived by his parents, Wesley and Amanda Williams of Woodlawn, Christy and Greg Jacks of Woodlawn, Richard Lewis of Little Rock; grandparents, Donna Thomas, Randall Lewis, Ralph and Vickie Cannon, Dwain and Linda Williams; great grandparents, Bonnie Lewis, Gladys Laughry, Jo Betty Wasson; uncles, Brad Cannon of Iraq, and Robert Lewis; two brothers, Colton Williams and Jacob Jacks, both of Woodlawn; three sisters, Jayne Williams, Alexis Cash and Kirsten Jacks all of Woodlawn.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Buie Funeral Chapel with Brother Roger Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., prior to service. Pallbearers are Ryker Smith, Timmy Roberts, Zack Myer, Colby Cargile, Jorge Simon, Cody Lunsford and Kyle Willett. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
