Charles Sam Walton

Sam Walton, 77, of Judsonia, passed from this life May 27, 2016 at Unity Health in Searcy.  He was born January 10, 1939 at Beedeville, Arkansas to the late Ted and Opal Eubanks Walton Sr.
Mr. Walton graduated from Newport High school in 1956 and served in the U.S. Army for 15 years; he received a Bachelor of Science during his military tenure.  He was also a member of the Crosby Church of Christ and was a minister for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John Doyle Walton and Ted E. Walton Jr.; two sisters, Nora Walton and Sandra Dawson.
He married Lola Tucker Walton April 19, 2012 at Searcy, Arkansas; she survives.  He is also survived by three children, Sam Walton Jr., Monika Phillips, and Jeanie McAdams; one step son, J.C. Eidson (Terri); two brothers, Kenneth Wayne and Boyce Walton; two sisters, Betty Tilly and Auneen Walton Etter; cousin, James Dean Walton; and brother in law, James Tucker.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett with funeral services at 2:00 p.m.
Cremation will follow services under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Care.
