Charles Thomason

Charles Edward Thomason, age 78, of Sheridan went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. He was born May 17, 1942 to the late Sherrill Vannoy Thomason and Nobie Lee Thomason. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran, a retired steel worker, and a cattle farmer. He was also a lifetime member of Bethel United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Paulette Evelyn Thomason, his second wife Elaine Thomason and two sisters. Mr. Thomason enjoyed spending time with his family and working on his farm.

He is survived by his daughter, Evelyn Thomason Cathcart and her husband John, Charles Vannoy Thomason and his wife Jamie, Sherrill Edward Thomason and his wife Susan, one sister, Gene Solano, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Bethel North Cemetery.
