Charles Gerald Strickland
February 16, 1931 — January 16, 2017
Charles Strickland, 85, of Pangburn, passed away January 16, 2017 at his residence following a lingering illness. He was born February 16, 1931 to the late Gilbert and Norene Frazer Strickland.
He was a self-employed drywaller and owner of Drywall Installers. He enjoyed fishing and while living in Arizona he enjoyed riding motorcycles and dirt bikes in the desert.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, John Strickland; and two sisters, Dixie Welch and Morene Swint.
He married Billie Jackson Strickland October 10, 1948 at Phoenix, Arizona; she survives. Other survivors include one son, Kenneth Strickland of Pangburn; two daughters, Carolyn Jackson (Joe) and Audrey Mears (Bill) both of Phoenix; eight grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
Cremation will be final disposition with no services scheduled.
