Charles Lee West, age 75, of El Paso, Arkansas, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021, at Beebe Retirement Center.
He was born February 21st, 1946, in England, Arkansas to Thurman and Emmie West. He was a Christian in the Baptist faith. He worked in the sawmill industry and ran the edger equipment. He also worked many years as a ranch hand on a ranch in El Paso, Arkansas. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and working in the yard.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 52 years, Louise West of El Paso; two sons, Charles Allen West (Donna Kay) of Oppelo; Robert West (Tonya S.) of Beebe; two brothers, Larry West (Marty) of Rye, Texas; Robert West (Amy) of Vilonia; brother-in-law, James Griffin (Sandra) of England, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Frances Hill of Beebe, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Kaylynn Wood, Christopher Allen West of McRae, Calihan West, Kayanna West; three great-grandchildren, Carsyn Lee West, Peyton West, Joann Nicole West, countless nieces, nephews, great-nephews, great-nieces, and a host of extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one great-granddaughter, Jacee Michelle West, sister, Fern West and a brother, Don Payne.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Vilonia Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 19th, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Vilonia Funeral Home Chapel 1134 Main Street Vilonia, Arkansas 72173, with Pastor John Neal officiating. Burial will follow at Cypress Valley Cemetery in Vilonia, Arkansas.
Pallbearers for the service are Calihan West, Mark West, James Griffin, Matthew West, Johnathan West and Norman Newsome.
