Charles Edward Golden

Charles Edward Golden age 54 of Kingsland, died Saturday, August 21, 2010. He was born June 6, 1956 in Little Rock, a son of the late William Leftridge Golden and Dollie Alene Culligan Golden. Mr. Golden was a 1974 graduate of Kingsland High School, had a BA of Science degree in Biology from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, and was a Christian. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Golden; one sister, Mary Frances Golden.

Mr. Golden is survived by his wife, Evelyn Brazeale Golden of Wilmar; one son, Charles Henry Golden of Monticello; four brothers, Weldon Golden of Kingsland, James Golden of Rison, Ronald Golden of Vilonia, and John Golden of Warren; six sisters, JoAnn Reid of New York, Alene Thompson of New Edinburg, Pauline Davis of Kingsland, Cletis Cullins of Rison, Betty Robinson and Judy Hays both of Warren.

Memorial services will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Watson Gum Grove Cemetery near Kingsland with Reverend Harry Puterbaugh officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00p.m. Saturday at Buie Funeral Home Chapel in Rison, prior to service time. Arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
