Charles Crutchfield

Charles Crutchfield, age 55, of Leola passed away Friday, November 21, 2008 at St. Josephs Hospital in Hot Springs. He was born December 17, 1952 in Sheridan, Arkansas. Mr. Crutchfield was raised and went to school in Leola. He was an army veteran, and a retired employee with Price Enterprise, and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Crutchfield was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Herrington.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Crutchfield of the home; step-daughter, Kristy Devlon of Tampa Florida; father, Carl Crutchfield of Leola; brother, Robert Herrington of Hot Springs; sister and brother-in-law, Vera and Mack Smith of Leola.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 23, 2008 at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville with Brother Roger Hall officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Pallbearers are: Jody Smith, Gunner Smith, Dakota Smith, Colton Smith, Kameron Smith, and Dustin Langley. Arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan. (870) 942-3231.
