Cecilio "Chico" Sanchez

Cecilio "Chico" Sanchez, age 63, of White Hall, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was born March 14, 1951 in Georgetown, Texas, the son of the late A.V. Sanchez and Angelita Conde Sanchez. Chico worked for Moseley's Industrial Wood Products as a plant manager for 31 years. Chico enjoyed hunting, fishing, all outdoor sporting, camping, and collecting antiques. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Sonny Sanchez, Jesse Sanchez, and Dale Sanchez. Left to cherish his memory, wife, Sharon Sanchez of White Hall; sons, Chico Jr. Sanchez and Jason (Tamara) Sanchez, both of Pine Bluff, and Keaton Sanchez of White Hall; step-son, Shawn (Elizabeth) Hoskins of Pine Bluff; daughters, Sherry (Ross) Cargile of Bartonville, Texas, Brandy (Chris) Taylor of Pine Bluff, and Cassie Sanchez of White Hall; step-daughter, Stefanie (Eric) Boreani of White Hall; brothers, Alex Sanchez of Sheridan, Billy Sanchez of Louisville, Kentucky, Rudy Sanchez and Joe Sanchez, both of Pine Bluff; sisters, Rosie Rodriguez of Holland, Michigan, Mary Sanchez of Mount Ida, Betty Cunningham, Della Knapp and Carmen Robinson, both of Sheridan, Maggie Roberts, Lila Roberts, and Dora Stump, all of Pine Bluff; twelve grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, February 23, 2015 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Pine Bluff. Pallbearers are Chico Jr. Sanchez, Jason Sanchez, Shawn Hoskins, Keaton Sanchez, Chris Taylor, and Eric Boreani. Honorary pallbearers are Alex Sanchez, Rudy Sanchez, Chris Gorman, Jeff Stuckey, Billy Sanchez, Joe Sanchez, Johnathon Hoover. Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
