Cecil "C.W." William Childers, Jr.

Cecil William “CW” Childers, Jr., age 74, of Higginson, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023. He was born November 26, 1948, in Kensett to the late Cecil William Childers, Sr. and Vinnie Vivian Shepherd Childers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Bobby Childers, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Johnson, and Kay Fletcher. He was a United States Army veteran. He later went on to be a logger and enjoyed woodworking and spending time with family and friends in his spare time.

He is survived by his children Alicia Cranford (Dustin) of Beebe, Shane Childers (Tiffany) of Searcy, siblings, Wanda Hill, Betty Helvering, Carmen Thomas, Larry Childers, and Debbie Hounsel. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Devon Childers, Caleb Cranford, Skyler Cranford, Abby Cranford, Tyler Childers, Alivia Childers, Kynsley Childers, Bryley Childers, and Bentley Beshears.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Sullivan Funeral Care with Bro. Rob Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Kensett Cemetery.
