Cecil King

Cecil King, age 72 of New Edinburg, died, Saturday, March 31, 2012 at his home. He was born March 19, 1940 in Cleveland County, a son of the late Hilton and Cora Huddleston King. Mr. King was a maintenance supervisor for Maxwell Hardwood Flooring and was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Warren. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Hilton Ray King and Robert King. Mr. King is survived by his wife, Patsy McClellan King of New Edinburg; three daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Jimmy Adair of Rye, Terri and Tracey Sutherland of Hermitage, Nichole and Bob Williams of Warren; three brothers, John King of Hammond, Louisiana, James King of Warren, Mike King of Russellville; four grandchildren and their spouses, Megan and Alan Watt, Derek and Simone Adair, Krista and Chris Ledbetter, Jessica Sutherland; four great grandchildren, Adrianne Watt, Hannah Watt, Allie Adair, Gunner Adair. Funeral services 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 2, 2012 at First Free Will Baptist Church in Warren with Brother Billy Wilson and Brother Ricky Rauls officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Pallbearers are Alan Watt, Derek Adair, Chris Ledbetter, Dakota Dawson, Larry King and Bill Young. Honorary pallbearers are Bill O'Neill, Marshall Parker, Dr. Joe H. Wharton, Tommy Maxwell, Bruce Faulkner, John Johnson, I.V. Butler and Dr. James W. Marsh. Funeral arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
