Casi Nicole Rushing

Casi Nicole Rushing, age 33, of Port Gibson, MS, formerly of Woodlawn, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. She was born November 13, 1987 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Robert Owen Rushing and Stephanie Ann Cantrell Rushing. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kay Craft Rushing and Bill Cantrell. Casi enjoyed life, always had a smile and never met a stranger. She loved flowers, and most recently she made Resin Art, which had a worldwide following.

She is survived by her fiancée Brannon Burr, her daughter Penelope Burr, her parents Robert and Stephanie Rushing, her brother Tyler Rushing (Brandee), her grandparents, Owen and Carole Rushing, Martha Cantrell and numerous family and friends who loved her dearly. She also leaves behind her dog Floyd.

A celebration of Casi’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Center Missionary Baptist Church in Rowell with Bro. Doney Blackerby officiating. Visitation will follow the service.
