Carolyn Sue Carlisle Vaught, age 74, of Littleton, Colorado, formerly of Sherwood, Arkansas went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 19, 2020. She was born December 20, 1945 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late William “Bill” Jack Carlisle and Eunice Caroline “Carrie” Freeman Carlisle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Luther Joe Carlisle, Richard Lee Carlisle and one sister, Lucy L. Carlisle. She was a retired antique furniture dealer and by far one of the best pie makers in the South. She had many talents which included; playing the organ, cooking, painting, sewing and numerous crafts. She was a true Christian woman who loved her Lord, and deeply loved her family.
She is survived by her three daughters, Darla Vaught Rains and husband David of Hot Springs Village, AR; Donna Vaught Neal and husband Dave of Littleton, CO; Debbie Vaught of Littleton Colorado; the father of her children, Glen Royce Vaught of Glenwood, AR. She was lovingly known as Ma-Maw to her four grandchildren, James Wesley Cole and wife Donna of Rison, AR, Matthew David Neal and wife Theresa of Littleton, CO; Lucas Andrew Neal of Littleton, CO; Ashley Elizabeth Cole of Hot Springs Village, AR; four great-grandchildren, Adelaide, Brooklyn and Celestina Neal and James Presley Cole. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends who loved her dearly.
Funeral services will be private.
