Carolyn Sue Mckinzie

Carolyn Sue McKinzie, age 67, of Rison, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. Carolyn was born April 17, 1950 in Lubbock, Texas, to the late Glenn and Jessie Martin Annear. She married Randy Louis McKinzie on September 6, 1975 and were married for forty-two years. Before retirement, Carolyn was an accounting clerk for Seaark Marine and previously worked for the Mad Butcher Grocery Store. She was a member of Rison Church of Christ. Carolyn was also preceded in death by her son, Michael McKinzie.

She is survived by her husband, Randy McKinzie of Rison; son, Marcus McKinzie of Bentonville; daughter, Shelly (Steve) Hawley of Ward; step-daughter, Shannon McKinzie of Dublin, Georgia; four grandchildren, Jackson Hawley, Jaycee Hawley, Paige McKinzie, Jonathan Walker; brother, Paul Annear of Amarillo, Texas and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Brother Lanis Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery near Rison. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison. (870)325-6216
