Carolyn Jane (Reagan) Freeman

Carolyn Jane (Reagan) Freeman, age 61, of Sheridan passed away Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born April 6, 1948 in Tampa Florida, a daughter of the late J.D. and Jennie Reagan. Mrs. Freeman graduated from Prattsville High School in 1967. She attended Henderson State University in Arkadelphia. On May 26, 1972 she married John Freeman in East End. Mrs. Freeman was a foreman at West Bend Company for over 15 years, and was employed with Skippy Peanut Butter Company for over 10 years. She was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Reagan.

She is survived by her husband, John Freeman of Sheridan; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Daniel Staneart of Mineola, Florida; six brothers, Paul (Mikki) Reagan of Sheridan, Ricky Reagan of Little Rock, Darryl (Karen) Reagan of Hot Springs, Steve (Amanda) Reagan of Sheridan, Ray (Dena) Reagan of Little Rock, Gathel Reagan of California; four sisters, Karen (John) Jennings of Desoto, Illinois, Donna (Mike) Mosley of East End, Vicky Reagan of Malvern, Paula (Clayton) Chandler of Landmark; mother-in-law, Demarise Freeman of Sheridan; sister-in-law, Jeanette (Jim) Munds of Sheridan; three brothers-in-law, Steve (Jaylia) Freeman of Sheridan, Joe (Sheila) Freeman of Camden, Dennis (Cheryl) Freeman of Haskell; nieces and nephews, Michael, Reagan, Salena, Nora, Hayden, Perry, Adrian, Jeremy, Amber, Callie, Calahan, Jennie, Taylor, Jeremiah, Deanna, Jace, Joey, Carole, Brian, Gary, Jennifer, Tony: great nieces and nephews, Cassie, Erica, Maggie, Stormi, Summer, Dylan, Mason, Blake, Robbie, Jerry.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Buie Funeral Chapel in Sheridan with Reverend Shawn Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2009 at the funeral home. Pallbearers are: Mike Mosley, Michael Mosley, Jim Munds, Jace Munds, Joe Ed Freeman, Charles (Smitty) Smith.
