Carol Dean (Brown) Kimbrell

Carol Dean Brown Kimbrell, 84, of the Hardin Community near White Hall died Monday, September 3, 2018.  She was born January 6, 1934 in the Rose Hill community of Rison, to the late Albert Sidney Brown and Vernia McGriff Brown.  Mrs. Kimbrell retired from Central Maloney in Pine Bluff with thirty-four years of service.  In July 2007, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine and a half years, Alex "Budzoo" Kimbrell.  Also, preceding her in death are four sisters, Maple Byrd, Aline Ricks, Naomi Lessel, Marie Reeves and infant sister, Ivy Brown; three brothers, D.W. Brown, L. Z. Brown and Wilson Brown; infant son, Harley Kimbrell; son, David Kimbrell and two infant grandchildren.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Inatha Roberts "Aunt T" of Rison; daughters, Jeraldean Anders, Diana Walker, Janie Stuart, all of Pine Bluff, Sherry Norris of Plano, Texas, Mary Allen of Hooks, Texas; sons, Mack Kimbrell, Len Kimbrell, both of Pine Bluff, Steve Kimbrell of Harrison; seventeen grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; one great grandsons and numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Reverend Chris Dixon and Reverend David Morrison officiating.  Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery at Rison.  Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the funeral home in Rison.  Memorials can be made in Mrs. Kimbrell's honor to New Hope Cemetery Association, c/o of Jackie Bowlin, 100 Mt.
