Carl Wayne Southard, 61, of Griffithville, passed away December 15, 2015 at his residence. He was born January 7, 1954 at Searcy.
He married Candace Sue Fuller Southard December 24, 1980; she preceded him in death November 4, 2014. He was also preceded in death by his father, John L. Southard.
Survivors include his mother, Jesse Southard of Griffithville; daughter, Carla Clause (Justin) also of Griffithville; three sons, Leon Hicks (Delaine) of Cullman, Alabama, Jesse Wayne Southard (Mandi) of Cullman, Alabama, and Matthew Carl Wayne Southard also of Cullman, Alabama; seven grandchildren, Faith and Karley Clause, Trynton and Adelynne Southard, Justin, Karen and Summer Hicks; three great grandchildren; three brothers; two sisters; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Visiting hours are 5-7 p.m Thursday, December 17 at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett. Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Friday at Dogwood Cemetery in Griffithville where burial will follow.
