Carl Wayne Lunsford

Carl Wayne Lunsford, age 78, of Harrison passed away on June 30, 2021 in Harrison, Arkansas. He was born May 29, 1943 in Rison to the late Roy Jewel Lunsford and Mary Melinda Roberts Lunsford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Lunsford, six brothers and three sisters. He enjoyed watching westerns, spending time with his family, gardening, fishing, hunting and tinkering with lawn mowers. He was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his children Tim Lunsford and his wife Mava of Western Grove, Karen Henderson of Harrison, Bill Lunsford and his wife Angie of Western Grove, grandchildren, Morgan Campbell, Hudson Lunsford, Clint Henderson, Maggy Mayfield, Melissa Mayfield, great-grandchildren, Raylee Campbell, Oakley Campbell, baby boy Henderson, Skylar Farrow, Landon Farrow, siblings, Betty McDaniel, Dan Lunsford, Tommy Lunsford, and Troy Lunsford.

Pallbearers will be Steve Jacks, Jimmy Whitener, Rusty Campbell, Butch Lunsford, Johnny Lunsford, Travis McDaniel with his nieces and nephews serving as honorary pallbearers.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with a visitation one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery.
