Cale Hopkins, 47, of Searcy, passed away August 1, 2019 at Unity Health in Searcy.  He was born October 27, 1971 in Searcy.
Cale was a 1990 graduate of Judsonia High School and went on to serve in the Arkansas National Guard where he trained as a medic.  He owned and operated Searcy Towing and Autoworks along with White County Wrecker.  He volunteered his services on the White County Fair Association Board and the board of Professional Towing and Recovery Association of Arkansas; Local Emergency Planning Commission; as well as a member of the Lions Club in Searcy.  He was a God fearing man, who was a life-long member of Trinity Baptist Church in Searcy.  He had a huge heart that inspired him to help others in need.  In his past-time, he enjoyed going to the lake with his family and friends; riding the jet ski; and golfing with his daughter.  He was also a collector of Harley Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed riding with his family and friends.  He also had a Corvette he loved to race and work on, in which he set a personal record of 226 mph. Cale was loved by many and will be remembered for his big smile.
He married Michele Pace Hopkins August 6, 1994 in Searcy who survives.  He is also survived by his two daughters, Mikayla Hopkins-Winchester (Aaron) of Judsonia and Kalynn Hopkins of Searcy; parents, Larry and Diane Hopkins of Bald Knob; brother, Jeremy Hopkins (Melanie) of Ward; nephews, Wyatt and Chance Hopkins; father and mother in-law, Michael and Mary Pace of Searcy.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Delbert and Pauline Hopkins from Judsonia; maternal grandparents, Mack and Louise Fulgham from Bald Knob.
A celebration of Cale’s life is scheduled for 6:00 pm Monday, August 5, 2019 at Trinity Baptist Church in Searcy.
Lasting memorials may be made in Cale’s name to Trinity Missions Fund at tbcsearcy.org or to the International Towing & Recorvery Hall of Fame and Museum Survivor Funds.
