C. B. "Buddy" Allison

C. B. "Buddy" Allison, age 81, of Rison, went to be with the Lord, Friday, April 1, 2016. Mr. Allison was born June 19, 1934 in Pine Bluff, a son of the late Carey Baker Allison and Mamie Stephens Allison. He was a 1952 graduate of Pine Bluff High School and a retired salesman for ABC Treadco Tire Company. Mr. Allison was a United States Army Veteran having served time during the Korean War. He was member of Rison Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. Mr. Allison was a Mason, member of Culpepper Masonic Lodge of Rison. He enjoyed deer hunting and was a long time member of Staves Hunting Club. Mr. Allison was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeffrey Baker Allison and sister, Joyce Allison Ferrell.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-six years, Shirley Reid Allison of Rison; son, Jason Allison and wife, Brooke of Rison; grandchildren, Jacob Allison of Port Charlotte, Florida, Reid Allison and Rhett Baker Allison, both of Rison; brother, Jimmy Allison and wife, Janet of Pine Bluff; sisters, Dorothy Allison Harris and husband, Dale of Pine Bluff, Gwen Allison Rhodes of Rison and Thelma Allison Thompson of Hot Springs.

Graveside services are 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 3, 2016 in Greenwood Cemetery at Rison. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Rison Baptist Church Jesus First Building Fund.
