Buford "Blu" Smith

Buford “Blu” Smith, 55, of Bald Knob, departed this life December 8, 2017 at his residence to enter his forever Heavenly home.
He was born April 2, 1962 at Berryville, Arkansas to the late Martic and Pauline Smith.
He was a hard and dedicated worker of 29 years for the City of Searcy Street and Sanitation Department.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.  He was a member of Foster’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Smith.
He married his soul mate Belinda Smith, April 2, 1991 at Judsonia, Arkansas; she survives.  He is also survived by seven daughters, Christina Pettingill (Michael) of Searcy, Natasha Melton (Bradley) of Searcy, Lacy Edwards (Jermaine) of Bald Knob, Rachel Sanchez (Nelson) of Little Rock, Audrey Bautista (Wilson) of Bald Knob, Emily Bridges of Bald Knob, and Jonnie Bautista Lopez of Mississippi; two sons, Edward Bridges (Keica) of Bald Knob and Irvin Burelson (Amanda) of Bald Knob; eighteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four brothers; four sisters; and his father in law, Earl Junior Gaskin.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett.  Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, at Sullivan Funeral Care with cremation to follow.
