Bruce Calvert

Bruce Allen Calvert, age 79 of Conway, passed away peacefully at home, April 6, 2021.  He was born November, 19, 1941 in Woodlawn, AR to the late Bart and Bobbie O’Briant Calvert.  Bruce was a retired insurance salesman.  He enjoyed going to church, and spending time with his family and friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Lamar and Harry Dale Calvert.

He is survived by his wife, Ingrid Hoffmann Calvert, children, Lisa Calvert Hale (Gary), Mark Calvert (Jan), Paul Prince (Felecia), and Cindy Fortson (Steve), grandchildren, Zack Hale, Trey Prince, and Mia Fortson, great granddaughter, Hadleigh Prince, sister, Peggy Calvert McCoskey, and many special nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison, with Bro. Steve Monk officiating, visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in the Woodlawn community.
