Brenda Sue (Valentine) Leopard

Brenda Sue Valentine Leopard, age 68, of Rison went to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 15, 2020. She was born March 22, 1952 in Dermott, AR to the late Tracey J. Valentine and Aminell Davis Valentine. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Claudy Mack Leopard, her daughter, Malena Selman, one brother, Timmy Valentine, and her niece that she raised as a daughter, Patty Lucas. She was an avid deer hunter and she was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, where she enjoyed attending when she was able. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and a wonderful mother-in-law.

She is survived by her daughter Stacie Youngblood and husband JR, two grandsons, Remington and Jacob Selman,  siblings, Chuck Valentine (Brenda), Vonda Jarrell (Lynn), Judy Baxter (Glen), Charlotte Lunsford (Henry), Wanda Gail Collins, Tammy Murphy (Thomas), Regina Huddleston (Barry), her step-mother-in-law Kathleen Leopard, two brothers-in-law David Leopard (Wanda), and Dewayne Leopard.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Bro. Carlin Gray officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery.
