Brenda Joyce Gilbert

Brenda Joyce Gilbert, 65 of Judsonia, Arkansas left her earthly home on January 6, 2024. She married at a younger age and built a beautiful life with her husband, Walter Harold Gilbert. She took great pride in raising their two children, Walter and Katrina. She and Walter provided a loving home and she enjoyed cooking meals for them.  Later in life, she enjoyed working in her flower beds and watching the birds. Her favorite was the Doves. She took care of each one that landed in her yard. Ms. Gilbert took care of everyone around her, but her favorite ones to care for were her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father, Billy Dean Merriman and one brother, Jackie Merriman.

She is survived by her mother, Nadine Smith Merriman, husband, Walter Harold Gilbert, son, Walter Harold Gilbert Jr., daughter, Katrina Gilbert and grandchildren, Walter Gilbert III, Shiann Gilbert, Heaven Corter, and Billy Jean Reynolds.
