Brenda Joyce (Stokes) Gentry

Brenda Stokes Gentry, 67, of Kensett, gained her wings on January 30, 2018.  She was born June 19, 1950 at Heber Springs, Arkansas to the late Almond and Dell Stokes.
Brenda was known for her kind heart and sweet soul.  She dedicated many years of her life to Searcy Industrial Laundry & Searcy Public School District.  From her childhood, she was a member of Kensett Church of Christ and was a die-hard Blue Devil and Raider fan.  She took pride in listening to the games on her radio and loved to hear them call out the names of her grandchildren.  She enjoyed scrolling on Facebook and placing unnecessary orders on QVC.  Although she is no longer with us physically, she will forever live in the hearts of her family.  Brenda leaves three children, Robert Stevens, Jennifer Stevens, and Shelby Smith; seven grandchildren, Whitney, Christopher, Ethan, Davin, Darian, Aidan, and Kynnlee; one great grandchild, Tristan; two sisters, Diane and Kathy; and her life long partner, Bill Rice; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Kensett with funeral services at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Kensett Cemetery.
