Bonita Mae McGarrah of Sheridan, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in Little Rock Arkansas, at the age of 75. She was born May 14, 1943 to the late Fred and Mattie McGarrah. Bonita was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed spending time outdoors working in her garden and working with all her flowers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Greg Hicks, a granddaughter, Jennifer Burnell-Konieczka, one grandson, Scott Hancock, and one great grandson, Eli Robinson.
Survivors include her sons, Travis (Erlinda) Ray of Sheridan, Randy (D’ya) Ray of Louisiana, James (Karen) Hicks of Sheridan, daughters, Debbie (Lee) Burgamy of Burleson, Texas and Kim (Tom) Aldrich of Hot Springs, thirteen grandchildren, Ashley Bearden, Zachary Ray, Jacob Ray, Brittney Ray, Fredrick Ray, Emily Hicks, Katlyn Hicks and Jordan Hicks, Brianna Day, Megan Day, Tammy Rodriguez, Ashley Slyter, and Marcie Burnell, brothers, Carroll McGarrah, Danny McGarrah both of Sheridan and Mike (Kathy) McGarrah of Mena, along with a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan with Brother Kenneth Click officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
