Bobby Vinson

Bobby Vinson age 76 of Pine Bluff, died, Wednesday, December 16, 2009. He was born September 18, 1933, in Cleveland County, a son of the late Sid and Florence Vinson. Mr. Vinson served in the United States Army, was a retired Pine Bluff Fire Fighter and a member of Prosperity United Methodist Church. He was a loving husband and father. Mr. Vinson was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Joy and Ralph Vinson.

Mr. Vinson is survived by his wife, Fern Jacks Vinson of Pine Bluff; son, Michael Lee Vinson of Cabot; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Robert Kendall of Pine Bluff; brothers, Kenneth Vinson of Little Rock, Joe Rex Vinson of Rison; sisters, Dorothy Emmick of Woodland, Texas, Lenda Harrod of Emerson, Arkansas.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Buie Funeral Chapel in Rison with Brother Jackie Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Rowell Cemetery. Visitation is 1:00 to 2:00 prior to service. Arrangements by Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
