Billy Dean Hopper

Billy Hopper age 52, of Pine Bluff died Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born January 13, 1956 in Rison, a son of Gladys Mae stringfellow Hopper and the late Asa Hopper Jr. Mr. Hopper was employed by Pine Bluff Street Department.

Mr. Hopper is survived by his wife, Sandra Jones Hopper of Pine Bluff; one step son, Brice Roberts of Pine Bluff; two step daughters, Brittainy Roberts and Kendell Studdard both of Pine Bluff; Mother, Gladys Hopper of Rison; four brothers, Bobby Hopper, Freddie Hopper, Randy Hopper, Gary Hopper all of Rison; five sisters, Peggy Long, Deborah Prescott both of Rison, Patsy Peterson of Pine Bluff, Barbara Lawrence, Becky Poss both of Rison; five step grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Moores Church Cemetery near Rison with Reverend Joe Lee Poss officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2008 at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the directions of Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870)325-6216.
