Billy Gene Cole

Billy Gene Cole, age 70, of Pine Bluff, died, Monday, March 18, 2013. He was born September 27, 1942 in Rowell, a son of Dorothy Level Cole of Rowell and the late Earl Cole. Mr. Cole was a 1960 graduate of Woodlawn High School. He retired from International Paper Company in 1997, after thirty five years of service. Mr. Cole enjoyed spending time with family, sports, westerns, traveling and eating out. He was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Cole; two brothers, Jerry Cole and Larry Cole; one sister, Judy Stagg. Mr. Cole is survived by his wife, Clydeine Holloway Cole of Pine Bluff; two sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Lisa Cole of Woodlawn, David and Diana Cole of Rowell; mother, Dorothy Level Cole of Rowell; three grandchildren, Jacob Cole and Sarah Cole, both of Woodlawn, Hayden Goodman of Rowell; a host of nieces, nephews and family. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Center Missionary Baptist Church with Brother John Fulmer officiating. Burial will follow in Rowell Cemetery. Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216
