Billy Dale Burrow

Billy Dale Burrow crossed into eternity July 4th, 2024. Billy was born on his mother’s birthday July 9, 1947, at their home in the Bald Knob, Arkansas area. He was preceded in death by his father Otis Burrow, his mother Dacel Brown and his daddy Harry Brown. Billy is survived by his loving wife Cathy Burrow, daughter Karon Bart (Clint) of Conway, AR, sons Kevin Burrow (Angela) of Higginson, Ar; Todd Cook (Wyndy) and Travis Cook (Angela) both of Ellenboro, North Carolina, his brothers Jerrell Brown (Wanda) and J.R. Brown (Jeannie), both of Judsonia, Arkansas , 7 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Billy had many skills such as equipment operator, carpenter, and cabinet maker. He served White County as a deputy sheriff and Chief of Police of Judsonia. He retired from his own construction company in Shelby, North Carolina in 2013 and moved to Mayflower, Arkansas to run yo-yos, bream fish and be with his kids.
Billy loved fishing and woodworking. He had a heart of gold & would help anyone with anything. Many neighbors and family enjoyed the fruit of his labors, whether it was building a cabinet, a deck, or simply eating crappie and bream he had caught, though he really didn’t share the bream much. There is one thing that he could not stand to do….lose at spades.
