Bill Raymick

Bill Raymick, 80, a native of Rison, Arkansas passed away on August 19, 2010 in Searcy, Arkansas. He was a graduate of Rison High School and the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Following graduation Bill served as a teacher and coach for seven years in Wilmot. He was a partner for over 30 years with Comfort Air Conditioning, Inc. in Pine Bluff. Bill was inducted into the Arkansas High School Sports Hall of Fame in 2001 after officiating high school and college football and basketball for 40 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Searcy. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Penn Raymick and Ruth Haskins Raymick of Rison.

Survived by his wife, Janet McLeod Raymick of Searcy; children, Kent Raymick (LuAnn) of Fayetteville, and Michelle Raymick Cothern (Tommy) of Searcy; sister, Sue Coburn of Conway; five grandchildren, Jana Raymick Norvell (Robert) of Kansas City, Missouri, Ruth Ellen Raymick Tubbs (Brett) of Frisco, Colorado, Chris, Zac, and Ali Cothern of Searcy. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Yazan Alsayed of the UAMS Multiple Myeloma Research Institute and White County Medical Center Doctors Mike Justus, Bill Gibbs, Ryan Koch and staffs. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to White County Medical Foundation, 1200 South, Main Street, Searcy, Arkansas 72143 or the donor's choice.

Memorial service will be Sunday, August 22, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Brother Wade Totty officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home in Rison (870) 325-6216.
