Bill Ogden

Bill Ogden, 87, of Searcy, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 after complications from lung cancer surgery. Bill was born July 29, 1932 in Clinton, Oklahoma to the late Ross and Gladys Glass Ogden.  Bill is survived by his wife, Sondra Pace Ogden; two daughters, Vicki Ogden and Debbie Nahlik (John); five grandchildren, Reesa and Spencer Nelson, Jennifer, Patrick, and Gregory Nahlik; a brother, John Ogden; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill will also be missed by his faithful schnauzer companion, Missy Boo II von Ogden.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; two sisters; and one daughter, Valerie Ogden.
Bill was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps after three years of active services, serving over one year in Korea.  His passions included reading, golf, and fitness.  He was an inspiration to many and will be missed.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, if you so desire, please send a donation to the Paws Inn No Kill Animal Shelter in Searcy, the Humane Society of Searcy or the White County Public Library Searcy Branch.
