Betty Dean Willis

Betty Dean Willis, age 92 of Pine Bluff, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2023.  She was born April 15, 1931 in Calmer, AR to the late Andy and Maudine Rodgers Willis.  Betty was a proud graduate of Woodlawn High school, and played for the Lady Bears basketball team. She retired from Jefferson Regional Medical Clinic where she worked in the accounts payable department.  Betty enjoyed watching sports and working in her flower gardens, and she was a member of Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Woodlawn.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Cullen Willis, Arlee Willis, Hugene “Bill” Willis, Lois Yong, Joanne Goldman, Marie LeBlanc, Barbara Dell Willis, Doris Jacks, Eugene Clowers, and Pauline Phillips.

She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Friendship Cemetery in the Woodlawn community.
