Betty J. Carter Neal

Betty J. Carter Neal, age 77, of Wynne, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015 at her home. She was born February 23, 1938 in Geneva, Alabama, the daughter of late Horace C. Carter and Gussie L. Medley Ragsdale. Mrs. Neal enjoyed bowling and was an active square dancer before her health declined. She was a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Neal is preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Benjamin F. Ragsdale, who raised Mrs. Neal after her father's passing; and husband, Ed Neal. Left to cherish her memory, sons, Randy Neal and his wife, Dana of Watson Chapel and Corey Neal and his wife, Debbie of Sheridan; daughter, Tahshia Busby and her husband, Mike of Wynne; brothers, Bill Carter of Corona, California and Dick Carter of Temecula, California; grandchildren, Aaron Neal, Zach Neal, Corey Neal II, Ryan Neal, Dylan Neal, Benjimen Neal, Jayce Neal, Ashley Roberson, and Bryce Busby; and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services are 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Center Grove Cemetery in Sheridan with Brother Brad Warren officiating. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan. (870) 942-3231.
