Bernice Wilkins

Bernice Wilkins, age 85, of Sheridan passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Sheridan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 4, 1932 in Rison, the daughter of the late Lewis Cummings and Hattlie B. Morris Cummings. Mrs. Wilkins was a member of Sherrill Missionary Baptist Church in Sherrill and she enjoyed gardening. Mrs. Wilkins was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lee Bo Wilkins, one brother and four sisters.

Left to cherish her memory, daughter, Betty Burns of Sheridan; brother, J.B. Cummings of Hot Springs; and sister, Lorece Hart of Pine Bluff.

Graveside services are 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Jackson Cemetery in Sheridan with Brother Roy Polk officiating. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan. (870) 942-3231.
