Barbara D. Willis

Barbara D. Willis, 82, of Pine Bluff, formerly of the Woodlawn Community, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 13, 2016, at Trinity Village Medical Center. She was born December 22, 1933, a daughter of the late Andy Willis and Maudie Ellen Rodgers Willis. Miss Willis, a dedicated teacher, retired from Pine Bluff High School after thirty years. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. Miss Willis was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Arlee Willis, Cullen Willis, and Bill Willis; three sisters, Lois Young, JoAnne Goldman, and Marie LeBlanc.

Survivors include four sisters, Betty Willis and Eugene Clowers, both of Pine Bluff, Doris Jacks of Maumelle, and Pauline Phillips of Pine Bluff.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Friendship Cemetery in the Woodlawn Community with Brother Don Breshears officiating. Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church building fund. Graveside arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
