Barbara Kelley

Barbara Lowery Kelley, age 81, of the "212" Community, Rison, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015. She was born March 5, 1933, a daughter to the late George Lowery and Ethel Brown Lowery. Mrs. Kelley was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. For many years she was a shipping clerk at the Rison Garment Factory and she always enjoyed time with her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John E. Kelley and one brother, Charles Lowery. Survivors are three sons, Rodney Kelley and wife, Shawna of Thomasville, GA, Raymond Kelley of Pine Bluff, Gary Kelley of Rison; one daughter, Norma Jean Ricketts and husband, Jimmie of Murfreesboro, Illinois; two sisters, Joan Ross of Lancaster, California, Marie Sala of Pine Bluff; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2015 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the funeral home with Reverend Bill Davidson officiating, burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Kedron.
