Autry Lee Brandon

Autry Lee Brandon age 69 of Fordyce, died, Friday, January 18, 2008 at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. He was born August 18, 1938 in Rison, a son of the late Charlie Brandon and Millie Miller Jones. Mr. Brandon was the owner and operator of Autrys Barbeque and a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church in Fordyce. He was also preceded in death by four sisters, Lola Mayhan, Victoria Marks, Bertha Berry, Nancy Brazil; step brothers Joe Nathan Walls, Ivory Walls; step sister, Joanne Walls.

Mr. Brandon is survived by his wife, Bobbie Brandon of Rison; daughter, Arnetta Brandon of Little Rock; step son, Billy Ballard; brothers, Ricky Brandon, Edward C. Brandon both of Rison, Kirk Brandon of Oakridge, Tennessee; sisters, Allene Shields (George ), Jean Jones all of Rison, Doris Galbert of Fordyce, Bama Ballard (Arthur ), Laureta Williams (Leodis ) , Jessie Young (Earl), Charlene Brandon all of Rison; step mother, Birtie Brandon of Rison; step brother, Clarance Johnson of Kingsland; step sisters, Ester Iverson of Stuttgart, Barbara Johnson (Jack) of Rison; granddaughter, Kiauna Brandon of Rison.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Tates Temple Church of God in Christ Church in Rison with Reverend Anthony Archer officiating. Burial will follow in the New Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, January 25, 2008 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.
