Antoinette "Toni" Gaines

Antoinette "Toni" Gaines, age 52, of Rison, beloved daughter, mother and grandmother, died Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Mrs. Gaines was born April 26, 1963 in Denver, Colorado, to her parents Joseph and Marnell Plancarte. Toni was a graduate of National Park College in Hot Springs where she studied computer graphics. She found great joy in the happiness brought by her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and had a passion for art, music and movies. Mrs. Gaines was preceded in death by her sister, Carrie Chavez. Survivors include her parents, Joseph and Marnell Plancarte of Lakewood, Colorado; sons, Charlie Gaines of Lakewood, Colorado, Nathan Gaines (Ashley) of Newburg, Pennsylvania, Zachary Gaines (Carlissa) of Brighton, Colorado; daughter, Brittney "Leigh" Cornelius (Shayna) of Los Angeles, California; brothers, Joseph Plancarte (Polly) and Michael Plancarte (Jen), both of Littleton, Colorado; sisters, Michele Dyas (Robert) of Littleton, Colorado, Jenifer Plancarte of Lakewood, Colorado, Sheri Storie (Dave) of Rison, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jorge, Carlos, Isaiah, Makayla and Raelyn; and many other loving family members. A memorial service will be November 14, 2015 in Littleton, Colorado. Toni's wishes were that donations can be made to Hope for Depression Research Foundation (www.hopefordepression.org) and American Fibromyalgia Syndrome Association (www.afsafund.org).
