Ann Willis Taylor

Ann Willis Taylor of Searcy passed away on June 19, 2023. She was born to Remer Willis and Willie Mae Mazie Caraway in Vidalia, Georgia on December 7, 1942. Ann was an avid thrift shopper, including flea markets and yard sales.   She loved them so much she stopped at one on the way to the hospital while in labor! She loved reading, music, dancing, playing jokes on family members and just laughing and loving life.

She’s preceding in death by her parents, two sisters, Eudine “Deanie” Dette Willis Teuscher (Royse) of Utah and Helen “Scoot” Willis Bass of Georgia. Two brothers, Lee Wade “Buddy” Willis (Helen) of Georgia and Larry Willis (Faye) of Georgia.

She is survived by one brother Donnie Willis (Rachel) of Georgia, Children, Hoke (Joy) Taylor of Arizona, Michael (Wanda) Taylor of Arkansas, Christopher (Nancy) Taylor of Arkansas, and Kimla Taylor (Jeffrey) Poe of Arkansas. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, Brandon, Brandy, Mandy, Roger, Jonathon, Janson, and Samantha. She has many great grand children, nieces and nephews, and friends who she dearly loved. She was a beautiful kind woman and will be truly messed.

A memorial service will be held at Lakeview memorial gardens at a later date.
