Ann L Dollahite, 69 of Searcy went to be with the Lord Friday, May 31st in Searcy, Arkansas.

Ann was born in Henderson, Kentucky on November 23, 1954 to the late Daniel M. Potter and Lillian J. Potter.

Born into an Army family, Ann got to travel and see the world from a young age. Starting school in Paris, France. Some of her favorite childhood memories were made when the family lived in Belton, Texas and nearby Fort Hood, Texas.

She would later meet her husband of many years and the father of her children, Wayne Dollahite,  while attending services and teaching Sunday School at the First Pentecostal Church of God in Long Beach, California, where they would later marry.

After the birth or their first child (Crystal), they chose to relocate to Judsonia, Arkansas and later, Searcy, Arkansas. They were blessed with a second child (Michael) and raised their children and lived out their lives in Searcy, Arkansas.

Ann was a devoted Christian with a very strong love for God. She read her bible daily, always said grace, and never passed up the chance to pray with or for you. She attended services at The South Heights Searcy Church of God in Searcy, Arkansas.

Ann retired from Wal-Mart and Searcy health Care. In her retirement, she enjoyed working with her many plants and flowers, and spending time with family and friends. She had a life long love for horses and light houses and it showed throughout her home.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel M. Potter (Lotta) of Hutchinson, Kansas, Lillian J. Potter of Searcy, Arkansas, her husband of many years, Wayne Dollahite of Searcy, Arkansas. One sister, Dana Winsett of Searcy, Arkansas, In laws, JK and Marjorie Dollahite of Searcy, Arkansas and a sister in law, Sharon Potter of Bald Knob, Arkansas.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Michael Dollahite of Searcy, Arkansas, daughters, Crystal Miller (Denise) of Ball, Louisiana, and Jamie Bryant of Searcy, Arkansas. Brother, Frank Potter of Searcy, Arkansas, Sisters, Delores Rainwater (Ven) of Searcy, Arkansas and Debbie Powers of St. Petersburg, Florida, grandson, Jared King (Haley) of Anacoco, Louisiana and granddaughter, Tye Wiggins (Byron), of Buna, Texas. Great grandsons, Oliver and Max King of Anacoco, Louisiana and great granddaughter, Olivia Wiggins of Buna, Texas. A very special long time friend, Darlene Martin Smith of Searcy, Arkansas and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members of which she loved all dearly.

A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Judsonia at a later date.
