ALMA FRANCES REED

Alma Francis Reed, 84, of Ward passed on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.  Alma was born January 4, 1939 to Edward and Maxine Tooley in Vanzant, MO. 

Alma was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 67 years, Paul Reed; brother, James Tooley; sister, Wilma Collins; and daughter, Patti Elzey.

Paul and Alma started their family in Missouri and moved to Arkansas in the 1960’s where they remained for the rest of their lives.  Alma enjoyed sewing, embroidery and quilting and shared her talents with her family through making clothing, quilts and other handcrafts.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Kenny (Debra) Reed, Cheril (Elmer) Trumpfheller and Beverly (Ray) Boyd; sisters Nellie Dennis, Carol Collins, Mary Padilla, Della Clinton, and Margaret Lint; brothers Clifton and Ken Tooley; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
