Alice Ione (Owen) Parker

Alice Ione Owen Parker, age 73, of Rison, went to be with her Lord on February 3, 2024. She was born November 16, 1950 in Rison, to the late Ralph and Marie Phillips Owen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence E. Parker, Jr., her daughter Rebecca Alice Parker, two grandsons, Tyler Wayne Parker and Cash Michael Parker and her brother Phillip Ralph Owen. She loved cooking, sewing and spending time with her family. She was a faithful member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Clarence E. Parker, III and his wife Jana, Steven Parker, Christy Parker Runion and her husband Marvin, and Matthew Parker, siblings, Carolyn Earnest and Patsy Stocks and her husband Wesley, grandchildren, Morgan Parker, Megan Parker, Seattle Parker, Cheyenne Runion, Halie Michels, Bailey Marie Parker, Seth Parker, Bentley Parker, Wyatt Parker and one great-grandchild Tate Michels.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
