Alfred Dewayne White

Alfred DeWayne White age 49 of Rison, died Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was born September 3, 1958 in Pine Bluff, a son of Marie White Hatchett of Plainview and the late James Alfred White. Mr. White married Debra Pickering on March 26, 1977. He was a maintenance foreman for Pine Bluff Sand and Gravel and a member of First Immanuel Baptist Church in Pine Bluff. Mr. White was preceded in death by his father, James Alfred White.

Mr. White is survived by his wife, Debra Pickering White of Rison; son, Anthony White of Rison; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Miller and James of Damascus; mother and step father, Marie White Hatchett and James of Plainview; sister, Judy Hays of Rison; step brother and sister-in-law, Darrell Hatchett and Betsy of Conway; step sister, Linda Hatchett of Ft. Worth, Texas; granddaughter, Leah Miller.

Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2008 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Reverend Gerald Wingard officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Buie Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
