Albert Luther

Albert Luther, age 67, of Thornton, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012. He was born February 17, 1945, in Antigo, Wisconsin, a son of the late Lawrence Luther and Grace Simmons Luther. Mr. Luther served in the United States Marines. He was a dozer operator in the construction business. Mr. Luther was of the Lutheran faith. He was also preceded in death by a son, Dathan Luther; two brothers, Norb Luther and Jim Luther. Mr. Luther is survived by his wife, Pattie Luther of Thornton; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Trisha Luther of Thornton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Marty Post of Kingsland, Mary and Scott Canady of Batesville; three brothers, Larry Luther, Bob Luther, both of Wisconsin Howard Luther of Missouri; three sisters, Lorna Jansen and Linda Fank, both of Alabama, Lois Messer of Wisconsin; ten grandchildren, April Anthony, Ashley Pitts, John Luther, Briana Luther, Jabie Post, Jeremy Post, Micheal Canady, Nikie Clemons, T. J. Clemons and Casey Clemons; five great grandchildren. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Hebron United Methodist Church with Reverend William Paul Woolley and Reverend Maurice Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Hebron Cemetery. Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2012 at Buie Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Wayne Dickman, Trustin Dickman, Steven Pitts, Jabie Post, Jeremy Post, Adam Anthony and Brian May. Arrangements by Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
