Alan Steve Mull

Alan Steve Mull, age 60 of Rison, died Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Delta Memorial Hospital in Dumas. He was born September 6, 1949 in Birmingham, Alabama, a son of the late John Francis Mull and Grace Mae Bellew Mull. Mr. Mull served in the United States Army, retired from Surepull, where he was a welder. He was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and loved fishing. Mr. Mull was also preceded in death by one sister, Katherine Mull.

Mr. Mull is survived by his wife, Donie Herrington Mull of Rison, whom he married on November 23, 1978; three sons and daughter-in-law, Stephen Dale Mull of Stuttgart, Chris and Whitney Mull, Donald Mull, all of Rison; one daughter and son-in-law, Jill and John Lorene of Orlando, Florida; two sisters, Margie Fronseca of West Palm Beach, Florida, Jackie Mull of Clewiston, Florida; three grandchildren, Brandon Mull, Kandyce Mull and Tyler Fuller.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Macedonia Cemetery with Brother John Mark Williams and Brother Johnnie Brewster officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 2, 2010 at Buie Funeral Home Chapel in Rison. Pallbearers are Randy Hollis, Jimmy Lockhart, Jimmy Herrington, Joe Herrington, Jeremy Duncan and David Herrington. Arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
